10.5.1 Reporting Weapons Concerns
Pursuant to N.C. House Bill 1008, possession of or carrying a firearm or explosive on campus is a Class I Felony. This same bill makes it a misdemeanor to possess or carry鈥攅ither open or concealed鈥攕witchblades, knives, razors, blackjacks, etc., on the College鈥檚 property. The policy at SCC is that no weapons of any sort will be allowed on campus, other than as allowed by law.
